Education:Undergraduate Degree in Business, Economics or Similar

Jupiter Resources Inc. is seeking a Senior Marketing Representative – Crude Oil and NGLs to work within the Company’s Marketing Department. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the successful candidate will be expected to take the lead on the day-to-day commercial and operational aspects of Jupiter’s oil and NGLs marketing activities. The position will have primary focus on the NGLs (mix and spec product), condensate and oil components of Jupiter’s marketing portfolio, however, the opportunity will exist to make meaningful contributions to the natural gas side of the Company’s business as well and to the Company’s corporate hedging program. You will work within a highly collaborative team environment but you will expected to be very self-driven.
Primary commercial accountability for the existing portfolio of oil, condensate and NGL marketing arrangements including managing contacts and relationships with key existing counterparties.
Maintaining a strong awareness of Jupiter netbacks and key netback drivers. Strong attention to detail and numerical awareness will be critical.
Seeking out and executing new commercial arrangements (including contract negotiations) and new counterparties with a view to enhancing netbacks and positioning Jupiter for future growth.
Overseeing logistics and operational aspects of the portfolio including monthly forecasting, nominations, balancing and dealing with planned and unplanned outages.
Assessing new marketing and export opportunities including preparing deal economics and management presentations.
Maintaining and developing a strong network of industry contacts with a view to staying one step ahead on emerging industry developments. Also expected to represent Jupiter at industry task forces and committees where applicable.
Developing and maintaining a fundamentals based/research backed outlook on key regional oil, condensate and spec product markets.
Strong input into Jupiter’s corporate hedge program.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong commercial track record in at least one of the key regional markets that you will be covering (oil, condensate and/or NGLs/spec products). The candidate must also demonstrate a strong understanding of pricing, qualities and logistics of moving the energy products from wellhead to market. Preference will be given to those candidates that possess background and track in record in fundamentals (supply/demand) based market research and the ability to develop and articulate a strong fundamentals based market view.

Excellent analytical, problem solving and modelling skills. High level of skill working in an Excel and PowerPoint environment is a must.
