Jupiter Resources Inc. is a Calgary-based independent exploration and production company with an operations office in Grande Cache, Alberta. Jupiter Resources is seeking a receptionist to work in our Calgary head office. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative team environment to assist the office manager and various departments throughout the corporate office as required. The position will have primary focus on assisting with the day-to-day administration in the head office.
This position is designed to draw upon certain core business skills and experience of the successful candidate while providing for growth and development of new skills.
Provide general administrative support in various areas, including compiling letters and filing meeting minutes, professionally and accurately
Answer and direct all incoming calls
Daily knowledge of meetings in the office and proactively inquiring about any requirements for the meetings (i.e. catering)
Coordination and management of all meeting room scheduling to ensure booking schedules are adhered to
Greet all incoming visitors to the office and ensure that reception and lobby areas are always maintained and presentable
Daily distribution of incoming mail and couriers
Organizing and sending courier packages and mail within Calgary and out of town as requested
Responsible for the organization and ordering of all office supplies including: stationary, business cards, coffee/kitchen supplies and toner
Responsible for maintenance and coordination of office services contracts and vendors
Liaise with building management for any repairs or maintenance as required and communicating any relevant issues to Calgary office staff
General office procedures, including keeping the office, meeting rooms and kitchens tidy
Assist the Office Manager with various tasks which would include onboarding of new staff and office moves
Assist the Executive Assistant, Operations as required for vacation coverage and other ad hoc needs
Be an active contributor to company event planning and community engagement
Assist the Finance Department:
Sort and scan invoices received by mail, occasionally input invoices into Powervision
Organize, scan and file vouchers
Input cheques and handle bank deposits
Truck tickets and filing
Coordination of credit and vendor list applications
Minimum two years’ experience in reception and administration duties
Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of professional interaction with all levels of people throughout various departments
Professional telephone manner
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible and adaptable to meeting the needs of a growing and diverse organization
Exceptional time management skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle various inquiries from both external and internal clients in a professional and courteous manner

Jupiter Resources is seeking an HSE Advisor in our Grande Cache, AB office.
The intent of this position profile is to establish defined expectations at a level of detail that will enable this key position to operate with a clear understanding of required responsibilities, accountabilities and behaviors. This document refers to work performed by an HSE Advisor.
Support field operations team to execute daily tasks without incident
Work with all teams to apply Jupiter’s HSE Standards and Procedures to all field operations
Create a work environment resulting in no harm to people and minimum environmental impact by conducting operations in a safe and reliable manner
Achieve continuous improvement through KPI management
Promote a positive image for Jupiter as an operator in the Deep Basin
Represent Jupiter’s interest for all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment in the Grande Cache area of operations
Support operations team by monitoring and analyzing HSE performance to identify improvement opportunities and advancement.
Provide on sight and direct HSE support for field operations.
Develop and maintain relations with local stakeholders
Provide HSE support and guidance for hazard evaluation and risk management
Provide support to operations teams on Contractor Management initiatives
Perform inspections and audits of Jupiter resources sites and processes.
Manage and maintain HSE related programs.
Functional area of Responsibilities:
Ensure HSE compliance for all Jupiter Operations. Develop and foster an open and transparent HSE culture
Ensure HSE policies, standards, regulations and safety initiatives are known to all personnel on Jupiter sites
Ensure HSE documentation is current, accurate, effectively distributed and communicated
Provide interpretation and guidance on related HSE legislation as required
Manage KPI Reporting and HSE Leadership Goals
Provide mentorship and coaching to Jupiter’s Operations staff on all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment
Attend and facilitate when necessary operations meetings to highlight HSE issues
Ensure all personnel on site receive full HSE site orientations
Provide Health, Safety and Environmental guidance to field operation teams and workforce
Perform weekly field visits to access the state of safety and environmental protection initiatives
Support operations staff with incident investigations, ensuring the incident is accurately reported and any action items are assigned and closed out in a timely manner
Assist in developing and implementing a robust contractor management process
Provide field teams with Contractor Management support
Review pre-tender and contract awards and assess for competency
Worksite inspections and contractor spot checks
14. Act as custodian of all key HSE documentation relating to field activities
Team & Interdisciplinary Detail Accountabilities:
Ensure that HSE reporting is current, accurate, detailed and communicated regularly to Jupiter Management as per protocol
Support the operation teams with HSE expertise and operational assistance in a proactive and responsive manner
Promote a mutually respectful work environment and safety culture between Jupiter’s operations teams and Contractors
10+ years of related HSE experience
Strong knowledge and applied skill in the area of health, safety and environment
Demonstrated ability to set a clear leadership example, promoting an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect
Strong computer skills
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively with all levels of employees and outside providers
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times
Class 5 Drivers License
